We also celebrated the well-deserved promotion of Sergeant Dan Fachner. ๐
Captain John Miller brings 40 years of law enforcement experience, including roles as K9 handler, SWAT Team Leader, and Chief of Police for Winters PD. He holds a Bachelorโs in Business and a Masterโs in Public Administration.
Fun fact: He once packed into Montanaโs Bob Marshall Wilderness with llamas to hunt elk! ๐ฆ
Lieutenant Joseph Njoroge started his career in 2008 with San Jose PD and has 17 years of experience, including time as SWAT Operator and Detective Supervisor. He holds a Bachelorโs in Electronics Engineering and is pursuing a Masterโs in Public Administration.
Fun fact: Joe is a BBQ master, known for his brisket and wings! ๐
Sergeant Dan Fachner served 11 years in the Air Force as a jet engine mechanic and joined the Antioch PD in 2013 after 12 years with San Jose PD. Heโs been a K9 handler, Rifle Team member, and Field Training Officer.
Fun fact: Dan recently competed in Californiaโs Tournament of Champions for bass fishing! ๐ฃ
Officer Junior Pen is a proud first-generation police officer who trained in Muay Thai in high school. He graduated from Alameda County Police Academy in 2022 and was inspired to serve by his mentor, Slain Stockton Police Officer Jimmy Inn.
Fun fact: Junior is a huge fan of the Star Wars franchise!
