Introduction to your machine and sewing

Do you have a sewing machine but have yet to learn to use it? Want to learn the basics about sewing with your machine? Join us!
When: February 25th
Time: between 12-5pm
Where: Antioch library
FREE introduction to machine sewing workshop. Recommended for ages 12 and up.

We’ll cover:
*General machine components, setup and settings.
*Basic Stitches (straight and zigzag)
*Touch a tiny bit on patterns
*Lots of Q & A time
*Finish with a 11โ€ pillow sewing project!

The workshop is free but you’ll need to bring a few items if you wish to participate hands-on:
*Your sewing machine
*scissorsย 

**please note all are welcome even if you do not have a machine you’re most welcome to join us, observe, and take notes!**
For those of you, out of the area or unable to attend I will be recording the workshop and post it online later. I may also try to live stream it (WI-FI availability depending)

Also I will have a limited amount of fabric on hand for use for the pillow project if you do not have a suitable shirt or fabric of your own. The colors and patterns I have are limited though.
