El Campanil’s Foreign Film Series returns in 2022 with the aptly-named “Another Round”. Filmed in 2020, this Thomas Vinterburg comedy/drama focuses on four teachers and friends who, at a dinner celebrating a 40th birthday, discuss the theory of psychiatrist Finn Skรฅrderud – that humans are born with a blood alcohol content (BAC) deficiency of 0.05%, and that being at 0.05% makes one more creative and relaxed. Embarking on a journey to the bottom of the bottle, the four friends test the boundaries of teaching, parenting, and themselves in this touching story starring Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Lars Ranthe, and Magnus Millang. Winner of the 2021 Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
