Antioch Free Kids Fishing Derby

The Kids Fishing Derby will be held at Waldie Plaza (Across the Street from City Hall). Kids are invited to this free event for some old-fashioned fun. This event is made possible through the great partnership between the City of Antioch, Antioch’s Parks & Recreation Department, and the California Striped Bass Association West Delta Chapter. This event is held in the memory of Antioch resident “Compy” Compomizzo; he inspired the mission statement “Get Kids Hooked on Fishing, Not Drugs or Gangs.”
