Antioch Council of Teens Creek Cleanup

Antioch Council of Teens Lead the Way in Creek Clean-Up

In May, the Antioch Council of Teens significantly impacted our community by organizing an engaging creek clean-up initiative that brought together local youth and families. The Creek is located behind the Antioch Water Park, just south of the Antioch Community Center, where enthusiastic volunteers gathered to rejuvenate the natural beauty of the creek and its surroundings.

Demonstrating remarkable leadership and community spirit, the teens orchestrated the clean-up and installed three stunning redwood benches with sleek black frames and three two-sort trash bins along the walking path. These thoughtful additions will enhance the area for everyone, encouraging more residents to enjoy the outdoors and help keep the environment clean.

The Council of Teens ensured that all necessary supplies were provided, making it easy and efficient for volunteers to participate. Everything from gloves and trash bags to refreshments was thoughtfully planned, making the day enjoyable and productive.

Participants expressed their appreciation for the teens’ hard work and dedication. “It’s wonderful to see our young people taking charge and making a difference,” said one local parent. “They’ve set a great example for all of us.”

The clean-up event is just one example of how the Antioch Council of Teens works to keep our community beautiful and vibrant. Their efforts improve the environment and foster a sense of unity and pride among residents. As we look forward to more initiatives led by these inspiring young individuals, it’s clear that Antioch’s future is in good hands.
