In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, many victims of the hurricane were left homeless and in need of basic supplies. On Thursday, the Antioch Rotary Club announced that it is partnering with Interact Clubs at Deer Valley High School and Antioch High School to help hurricane Harvey Victims.
Like so many around the country, our Antioch High Schools want to help Texas. Our Panther Interact and Key Club students will lead a donation drive of socks, underwear and toiletries. All items being requested by key organizers in Houston and surrounding areas.
The collected supplies will be shipped to Austin Disaster Relief Headquarters in Austin Texas and they will get the supplies to the needed shelters.
A simple contribution can help many, affected by the Hurricane Harvey, with basic daily necessities that we may take for granted until it is lost. “AUSD students share from the heart. But they can’t do it alone and need our help. Reach deep as our students are working hard to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey by giving what you can.” said Lori Ogorchock, Counsel member and Antioch Rotary Club member.
